Maintaining a leadership position
Our challenge was to drive traffic to and increase awareness of reed.co.uk and position it as the UK’s #1 job site.
It was clear to us that the best way to stand out in such a competitive space was to do something different and category breaking. So we focused on the positive feeling you get when you find the right job. From this insight, the ‘Love Mondays’ campaign was launched in 2008, initially on radio and outdoor and later on TV and YouTube.
Reed.co.uk has received more than 130 million visits in the last 12 months and receives more traffic than any other UK job site (source: Experian Hitwise) and scores highest for awareness (source: YouGov).
